***Ditto. Any pressurized oil (hydraulic typically) is dangerous as it is easy to "inject" it through the skin and get it into your blood stream. Can really mess you up.***

For those who think their starters aren't spinning the engine fast enough be sure to check all the electrical connections before you start tinkering with the starter itself. The problem is often one of corrosion and one of the many connections between your batter and the motor. They need to be cleaned and tightened periodically.

I have the same problem ,I had the IP rebuilt and still after few days would not fire up ,so took back and was told that I had fuel contamination ,install the IP and few days latter the same ,I don't believe is fuel contamination ,my westerbeke generator works fine from the same tank ,and I have 2 racors water separator for each engine. please let me know if you find a solution
