I could suggest a place if you're in Brisbane Australia that might be able to help. They rebuilt my pump and did an excellent job:

Re: Perkins 4108 fuel pump anti stall device
Just did the exact same thing and had to run back to a bigger town to get tools to remove the bolt. Anyone happen to know the length and thread of the vent bolt?

Question: can I simply replace the anti stall device (items 1, 2 and 3) with a plain old screw of the same thread along with a washer to seal it all off? Attachment 156304

I have this identical problem on my Morgan 383. Thanks to the person on the thread who recommended Transatlantic Diesel. Just ordered the assembly for $80. I'll keep the old one and try a regular screw as a backup.

Remember to leave the setting untouched when you remove the old one (as long as you only sheared off the vent screw. Match the new assembly setting and reinsert so you don’t have to go through the whole process of adjusting the anti-stall.

Strictly what I as an amateur did: I screwed the anti stall screw in to about where it was. Start the engine and adjust until the engine revs where it should on idle (my 4-108 is about 1000RPM). If too far in the engine will cut. If too far out you'll have a screaming engine!
