Hi, I was losing coolant so I have pulled off my perkins 4108 heat exchanger and it is badly corded at the one end. It is an older style setup with separate header tank over the front of the engine and combined exhaust / exchanger on the side. It has no tube stack. So for $2,000 Aussie dollars (ouch) I can get the newer Bowman unit with combined header, h/x and manifold but I'm wondering what else I have to change in terms of piping etc. through transmission exchanger etc. can anyone point me at info of the cooling circuit for the newer cooling circuit arrangement?
I don't know the currency conversion off the top of my head, but I have several bowman exhaust manifolds along with every cooling set up that came on the 108. I'm selling the Bowman manifolds for $650US plus shipping. If you decide on a different option, PM me and I will give you a price on what you want. I currently have 6 Perkins 107-108's.
