Perkins 4.108 Raw Water Pump

Hey!

Our water pump">raw water pump on the Perkins 4.108 is leaking water. I googled and found the Jabsco 3270 for Perkins 4.107 and 4.108, there's even spares for it so I could change only the seals. It looks just like ours but when I look at the bottom of ours it sais Jabso 3273. The only 3273 I find on the net is one on e-bay and I don't want it.

So, the 3270 and our 3273 look identical. The 3270 fits Perkins 4.108 and both the pumps are flange mounted (you know the flange that is a NO-NO to touch without the alignment tool). My question is: Will the spares, o-rings and seals for the 3270 fit the 3273? If not, will the 3270 fit the same flange that the 3273 is mounted on and that we already have? Could anyone piont me in the right direction please?

EDIT: Looking some more I see that the 3270 has internal threads for the hose connections, our 3273 has external threads. Could that be the difference?

/Hampus

This a new one on me. I always thought that the Sherwood G65 was the pump for the 4-107/8.

Hampus - Could you post a pict of how the pipes and hoses are run for this pump. The G65 has horizontal ports, the Jabsco are verticle. I'm curious.
