The 4-108 is a pretty sturdy engine and operating life spans of 10K to 20K are not unusual. Many are used to power farm equipment
and generators and 15K is quite routine if the motor
is well maintained. We have 3300+ hours on ours with relatively few problems save for having to have the injection pump rebuilt in Nov 2011.
