Perkins 4-107 water pump

I just took off my water pump to get the impellor and I am having a hard time finding a rebuild kit for it. Westerbeke suppliers come up a lot, but their pumps are of a different configuration than mine. On forums like this, folks talk about changing the pulley, mine is a direct drive off the engine itself. Any al all help is appreciated....Allan

Is this raw water or engine coolant pump? I just did mine that is westerbeke water pump">raw water pump #33636. Here is pretty good “how to” instruction here http://www.pbase.com/mainecruising/raw_water_pump&page=1 I did not buy the whole kit, just got matching bearings and seals on ebay.

Thanks 125, great reference. It is a raw water pump.

Re: Perkins 4-107 water pump

Somewhere on the pump body it should be stamped with a model number and manufacturer. Ours is stamped both on the body and the cover plate. Once again, let me recommend Transatlantic Diesels in Virginia. TAD for perkins engines, perkins diesel, perkins marine, perkins parts, perkins generators, perkins service If nothing else, they have a lot of pictures on their website that should help you identify the pump. Start there and if you can't find a source in Canada at least you'll know if you can get it there.
