Oil Pressure gauge and buzzer on Perkins M4.236

Hello, need some help, just replaced all the light bulbs on a Perkins engine control panel and when I replaced it the oil pressure gauge and alarm buzzer did not work, however the light on the panel does work and the buzzer and gauge works when tested, I found a pinched wire and had approx 9.5 volts to ground when tested, when the wire is reconnected still nothing works, atop the buzzer there is a small diode assembly however that is the only part untested, does anyone know what the assembly is for and how does the oil pressure circuits work as the light does come on, sorry to be so long winded.

Look for a ground wire that may have become dislodged when you pulled your panel. Check also you panel fuse. Very common failure modes. BTDT. The diode is intended to prevent back-flow of current to the buzzer from a common ground for several of the instruments.
