Nasty little 2GM fuel problem fixed!

Thought I'd share this in the hope it might save someone else hours of buggerising around.

My 2GM started losing revs after about 30 seconds at full power. It would drop to about 2000 rpm, and after a while would drop some more and sometimes cut out. After a short delay it would restart ok then do the same.

Having just cleaned out the tank I though I might have left a bit of crud in there, and blew the line out as far as the primary filter but that didn't fix it.

So I worked my way along the lines and lo and behold found the banjo bolt at the lift pump inlet slightly loose. Tightened it up, bled the secondary filter and vroom vroom off we went.

So now I'm celebrating not having to remove the tank again and look for that last bit of diesel bug I thought I might have missed.

Cheers, Graeme
