Md7a neutral or in gear while undersail

Standard gear was MSB and it is not supposed to freewheel.

In gear (reverse). This is what VP manual says.

A word of caution.

I noticed some msb refuse to go into neutral after extended sailing with gear in reverse.

Solution: remain in reverse, turn the engine by the wheel, shift to neutral, start now.

Starting the engine with gear in wears the starter and the transmission.
