Re: marvel mystery oil

We have just had two recent discussions on this and the end result was that there was more wear on the injectors using MMO than just straight diesel.

Re: marvel mystery oil

If you are going to use that Marvelously Mysterious Oil for decarbonizing an engine, cleaning off threads on bolts, cleaning the top end (internally the heads, valve seats and stems, springs, etc) you can substitute it for any type of transmission fluid which most likely you already have some around or is getting old by now..... Cheaper too.
Can even pour it slowly, very slowly, down the throat of the air intake of a gasoline or diesel engine.
Works best if you let it sit on the metal parts for a long while, so if it stalls the gasoline engine when pouring down the carburator, give it 15 minutes before re-starting it.
It will make a lot of smoke as 'Sea Foam' would also do.
That mysterious oil is probably mostly transmission fluid.

Re: marvel mystery oil

In the old days I used MMO for freeing rusted in pistons. There are better products now. The best stuff I've found now for fuel or oil is Archoil. Archoil | The Latest Developments In Nano lubrication
