Manifold Sealant

I have a (drip, drip, drip) leak in my engine manifold where a square "cap" in front joins with the rest of the unit. I have removed said cap in the past, but apparently didn't get it sealed properly. Is there some sealant that resists high temperatures and water that is appropriate for this purpose?
