Looking for Someone with a Beta Marine 20hp

I am looking for someone with a Beta Marine 20hp that can look at something on the engine and let me know where the wire goes.

I replaced a part and not 100% I put one of the wires in the correct spot.

Have you tried getting in touch with Beta directly? They are usually pretty good about answering questions. Also why not post up a photo or at least a description of what the exact part/problem in question is. I don't have the 20hp but I have the 5 series shop manual sitting here beside me.

Re: Looking for someone with a Beta Marine 20hp

I replaced my starter over a two week period.

There is a loom of 3 red wires that go to the starter, plus the battery hot wire.

One goes to the alternator for sure. Another is smaller. I have all of these on the starter pos terminal.

The third wire in the loom is much smaller and longer. I think this one goes to a ground on the starter bolts?

I looked at the page in the manual, but can't tell.

Jaybeegee, can you read my post above and check your starter wiring for me please?

Re: Looking for Someone with a Beta Marine 20hp

Are you able to upload a couple of pics (possibly via a link on flikr?) of the wires? It will be useful for me and I will be onboard over the weekend.
