Last Mile

I got the last mile out of this one:
At least it was well clamped.

Pretty shoddy seamanship to let anything on a boat get to that stage.

Got it last summer. Brought it home from Mass after sailing there for a week and a half. It will be going in the water soon after a refit over the winter including a new Kubota. Believe it or not, that hose looked good on the other side. The bottom you see in the pic was in the oily bilge and hence the oil damage you see in the pic.

Wow ! I'm shocked that someone as experienced as you missed such a serious issue for so long.

Knowing I was going to refit the boat, I didn't even look for problems. Figured I'd cross my fingers, hope for the best, and use it the rest of the summer. Worked out well.
