Isuzu

Could anyone explain the difference between the Isuzu diesel 4LE1 and 4LE2. I was quoted on a price for a 4LE2 4cyl 54 hp. Just looked at the engine sticker which said the engine I received is a 4LE1 NYBW-02 (No such model in the manual) but there is 4LE1 N. No reference to the rest of the model number. I want to have some background info before I contact the dealer. Many thanks...

Sorry I can not help you on your engine numbers but just to put your mind at rest I have an 27 hp diesel Isuzu 3KC1 M In my Colvic Watson motor Sailer and she uses 1 Lt /Hr at 6 knots, they are great tough little engines, so I can well recommend them.
