International Crusader Diesel

anybody know anything about these engines. i am thinking about purchasing a carver acmy with these.

Welcome aboard. Gord May will surely have some info for you. I think they were an automotive v-8 redone as a diesel, but I could be thinking of another engine. That happens with age. lol

There are a few out there we have run into, Eggharbor used the 6.9 / 7.3 that were used in the ford pickup from 83-90. I have come across a few international tractor motors that I had to have custom head gaskets made for and are still running. Not very common and I would stay away from, some engine can be hard to find parts for.
