Help sourcing alternator mount

I have a Yanmar 4JH57 and want to mount a mastervolt 130 amp 12 volt alternator to it as a secondary alternator. This will require a custom bracket and I am wondering if anyone out there has already made one. I've been trying to get local yards to make me one all summer, but they've be too busy to spend time on this. So my new plan is to find a shop somewhere in the world that may have a template done. Thanks for any guidance.

Re: Help sourcing alternator mount

Try an automotive & diesel guy/shop. Odds are they'll be cheaper, & more importantly, not too busy to help you. And a good mechanic or fabricator can also make a few engineering/drafting drawings of the bracket for you as well. As I could do that kind of thing when I was 15. Both the drawings/design, & the fabrication/welding, so it's not real complex.

Also, it's likely that another cruiser, or sailor in your marina/yard could do one or both jobs, too. If you ask around.
