Going Green

Thinking of going electric for 24' trimaran-maybe 2500# any advice on electric propulsion systems?

Torqeedo seems to be the most common, with 14 electric outboards ranging from 1 hp to 80 hp. No personal experience with them, though.

Starting my sixth season with electric propulsion on my 30 foot 8 ton monohull. I have a Thoosa 9000 system on board and just love it. Maintenance is way down and sail time is way up. Sounds like you could go some type of Torqueedo since you boat is lot lighter plus you'll be able lift it out of the water. I'm not that familiar with the Torqueedo models but, I am very glad I went electric.
