Gearbox repair

Would anyone have experience with gearbox (KBW10) rebuild in langkawi? Or thailand, otherwise a second hand one may suffice?

You might try PSS in Satun. The head engineer there is said to be very good with gearboxes. An aquaintence had no luck having his gearbox rebuilt in Phuket, but they did a great job on it at PSS.
