Engine oil color. MD7

Ran engine 3 hours this am, no recurrence of grey.

Changed oil and filter, can't get to the oil pan bolt to drain it that way but did pump some small additional bit of oil out by turning over engine by hand. Got out close to the specified amount of oil. I ran it into an old gallon milk bottle and could not see anything but oil

Compass....the engine was under load, running about 2,000 rpm. So not working it hard.

Temp 140/150, oil pressure starts at 50psi and drops to 42psi after heating up.

I'll be watching and report back if anything new comes up.

All sounds pretty ok to me. I'd stop worrying too much now. 2000 rpm under load would be fine to try & boil off moisture as yr max hp revs are about 2400 according to specs. Thermostat should begin to open at 60oC or 150F, fully open@72oC ( according to volvo) so you could check that if you wanted but most likely just condensation from being laid up.
