engine mounts

We are new here. Just bought a marine trader 1976. It is in great shape, just needs a lot of cosmetic work. However while bringing her home we noticed a lot of vibration on port engine. Checking the engine mounts, we seen that they need to be replaced. Engines are two Ford Lehman 120s. I have read that the Lehman mounts are stiff. Does anyone have any experience with replacing the mounts for these motors? Any recommendations?

Re: engine mounts

Probably the easiest thing to do is replace the defective mounts with the same size and durometer rubber that they currently have.

However, for all things Lehman check with American Diesel Corp., Kilmarnock, Va.

Re: engine mounts

Thanks for the info. We planned to get the mounts from American Diesel. Since I read a comment about them being "stiff" I thought I would ask in case anyone had experienced the same issue.
