Electric Salt Water Dinghy Motor

Here a nice video to show how you can power your dinghy with and electric motor for salt water use with a $300 electric motor and a $60 Car Jump Starter Battery. Even a small gas engine cost $800

Electric motor - Minn Kota Riptide 45/T 36" (saltwater) Transom-Mount Trolling Motor $300

Battery - Car Jump Starter battery

Powermax PM91001 12V 18000 mAh 700 Amp Lithium Portable Power Bank
or a
Stanley 700 amp Car Jump Starter battery

The throttle is so smooth and the electric motor is so whisper quiet. The Water is the only thing making noise.

This is a nice setup for taking your dinghy out to a mooring and back a few times.
