I ask as some stoves run on kerosene, rather than diesel
What make/model of stove
I have three tanks that all hook up to the engine. There was a day tank that someone took out and decided to run the stove straight from the aft tank. The tank in the cockpit was added later and is the one I have used to run the engine with so far. I haven't wanted to use the other two for fear of this exact reason.

The stove is a dickinson pacific model.

Re: Draining Tank and Fuel Line Questions?

Yes you will have to inspect each tank before running though the engine
Fuel injectors are damaged when water run through them
The carburetor on the stove is simple, and easy to clean out
Are the tanks high enough to gravity drop the fuel so that a separate fuel pump is not needed ,or do you use an impulse pump?

Ha!!!! I wish. The two I need to clean out are in the keel. Good times ahead... At least they have inspection plates. Not that they look like their too easy to get to, at least they are there.
