Question diesel fuel line installation

would it be normal to install a non return valve on the diesel fuel line to an inboard diesel engine

Hi John
It is NOT normal to fit a NRV in the fuel supply to the engine. It should be a direct feed from the tank to the filter/separator to the engine fuel pump.
