Under loading is a known problem with diesels and can be an issue long term. The biggest abuse of recreational marine diesels is long term storage without proper preparation.

Read your owners manual or better yet a service manual about long term storage. Follow the book and you can leave it in storage for years without any trouble. Don't follow the book and it could turn into a mooring anchor in a couple of years.

Yup yup yup!!! Detroits all the way,,and let me tell ya,,Greyhound was not known for easy duty on their engines, very mistreated,,but is expected whith dozens of different drivers all the time with different driving habits.
Gas Boxes would never survive the trips......

The old 8V71's where always my favorites too,,,fantastic to see them on the Drag strip as well,,,,makes a lot of Jaws drop i tell ya!!!!!
