Desperate: Need collar for Volvo dripless seal urgently

I need a new/used collar for a 1inch shaft Volvo Penta 3cyl 29hp (Dripless Seal)

Tucked into Mamaroneck, NY. Could have it overnighted here or somewhere up Long Island sound.

Burned up the pump somewhere north of Atlantic City and bailed 10 to 15 gallons an hour all night long.

If you have any ideas where I can get this part fast, please call me on 435-901-8127.

PS: I suppose it could be 25mm, but a one in since fits perfectly.

also Google "Volvo Penta 828254 You may find a closer supplier & make sure they have it in stock & don't have to b/o on VP.

You have to remove shaft coupling from shaft to install this.
That is the sometimes the difficult job.

Try Mcmichael Yacht Yard in Mamarroneck. They used to be a VP dealer.....

Meanwhile, obtain a plastic syringe, such as used for West system epoxy, and inject an ounce or two of waterproof wheel bearing grease under the lip of the seal. Rotate the shaft a few times and it might stop the leak for some time.

If you haven't had any luck by the time you read this, respond to me. I have a new 828254 seal available in my hand. Sorry I am just now reading this.
828254 is for 25mm shaft....

Thanks to all for the responses.

We did a temporary fix with a hose clamp but as we were pulling away from the slip the next morning, the 2-week-old propeller fell off so we left the boat and headed off to the next delivery.
