Uses alot of oil 2-3 qts in 7-8 hrs any thoughts has new coolers

how many hours?
is it making full rpm?
have you done a compression test?

600 hrs
4000 rpms +/-


ill check the plugs
and get a compression test

granted I'm not up on all the gas spec's. But, 4000 seems low. That could be a sign of significant wear.
