Coolant specs for a perkins 4-107

I have searched and googled to no avail. Does anyone have the specs recommended for Perking 4-107 coolant specifications?

I have several manuals and they only give the oil specs.

As a general rule, almost any coolant newer than the engine block ha the correct additives to protect the block.

There are always exceptions, but the 4-107 is fairly agricultural and hence tolerant of "stuff" being thrown at it.

Re: Coolant specs for a perkins 4-107

Perkins and many of the older engines are very forgiving as to the proper coolant. My best advise as a former Perkins owner is to use only the green anti-freeze in a marine engine. Every engine mechanic I have ever talk to has given me the same advise. Unless you are dealing with potential warranty issues, it isn't going to matter that much. Chuck

That's not what every marine mechanic I have ever met has told me, just the opposite. This includes Yanmar. BTW, the red and orange are for cars too. Chuck
