Coolant on Raw Water Side of Heat Exchanger

Hi There,
I have a Coronado 35cc with a Universal M-35B (60hrs).
The boat overheated after I changed slips with-in the marina.
Operator error, I didn't open the seacock.
Heard buzzer as I re-tied the boat.
I shut the engine down.
Stream pushing past the host clamps on coolant side.
Now I have found coolant on the raw water side of the heat exchanger.
The exchanger seems compromised.
My plan is to replace all of the hoses, heat exchanger, thermostat , pressure cap, and impeller.
Should i be checking for any other issues ?
Any thoughts, other than I'm a dork ?

Lesson learned. My guess is that the thermostat and pressure cap are ok, but no harm in changing them since your going to have most everthing else apart anyway.

You are probably looking at a new heat exchanger. I suspect one of the fresh water core tubes ruptured from steam pressure or temps, allowing fresh water coolant into the raw water flow. I would also be concerned with raw water getting into the engine's cooling jackets where scale and corrosion can cause a lot of mischief. Since you will have so much apart anyways, it won't hurt to give the engine a good flushing just peace of mind.

As far as your raw water pump goes, you might wind up replacing the impeller.
