Changing engine command cable positions. Dumb or clever?

Hello everyone!
Its difficult to find the right folding propeller in Brazil, I just find one in Argentina but they only make LH and my Yanmar is a RH. Figure out what I thinking?
The gear ratios are the same for forward and reverse (2,63:1), so what about changing positions on the accelerator cables? I mean, Install a LH propeller on a RH engine. Is that another gear box issues? or others? I'm just dumb or very dumb?
tks in advance!

Re: Changing engine command cable positions. Dumb or clever?

Depends on the transmission and how it handles the thrust. Talk to Yanmar or someone that rebuilds that transmission.
