change from cartridge to spin-on oil filter

I notice some 4-107's and 4-108's have cartridge type oil filters and some have spin-on oil filters. Can the cartridge type be changed to spin-on type by changing the oil filtter base assembly?

Years ago, there were kits to change from cartridge type to spin on type. Anybody know of a kit of this type to fit the AC E700 filter assembly?

yes it can be done. Finding the parts will be the challenge.
