Catalina 42 Eletrical Instrument Panel for Yanmar Engine

i have a 2000 catalina sailboat, that has a 56 hp yanmar engine, 4jh3e. i am looking to replace the red idiot lights, and the warning buzzer for higtemp. and low oil pressure, in the instrument panel. where can i get these parts?

Are you just trying to replace burned out bulbs. Pull them out and match the part number at the auto parts store. You can probably find a cheap buzzer online. Of course your Yanmar dealer will have them or can order them but it won't be cheap.

If you are trying to upgrade the idiot lights to gauges then I would order the Yanmar C panel for your engine. Again it won't be cheap.

These are very small similar to led's. Real small with two wires for their connections. Also buzzer is generic, was hoping for a source on Internet?

Depending on a few things, either the Yanmar instrument panel was made by Yanmar or Seaward Products.....

1) A call to Catalina, (727-544-6681, ask for Warren) would be the first course of action.....

2) If no luck there, contact Seward Products.....

3) And, if still no luck, call your local Yanmar distributor.....


Although, I've never done so, some have also had good luck at catalinaonline

I am 99% certain you have a Seaward engine panel. Contact Seaward at 562-699-7997 for replacement parts. The Seaward website also has a history of engine and electrical panels they've made for Catalina Yachts. See their website here: Electrical Panels

Check out catalina Direct dot com. If yoy have the Catalina panel and not the original Yanmar panel, they have all the parts that you need.. As rodney said, they are made by Seaward.
