Can you buy 2-stroke 15HP Yamaha in Mexico?

never been in Mexico but most probably, yes. Look for the Yamaha Enduro versions.

Thanks Nick. We were hoping to find a cost estimate. We know we can buy them locally for $2800. We have tried searching the internet for Yamaha dealers in Mexico but no luck so far.

Yes I know that there are no deals - at least as of May 2011. Imports from Asia still get a hefty tax; priced a new Yamaha 15 DMH (2 stroke, short shaft, manual start and tilt) - 35000 pesos after VAT (sales tax) of 16 per cent, equivalent to about $3000...

I know you're from the west coast but if you get to Nassau a 15 hp Yamaha 2 stroke is $2100.

go see dinghy doctor in san diego. they have used engines and dinks and are good folks ... may even be online by now...
