Bukh DV 24 rocker arm shaft

I have a Bukh DV 24 that has provided good service for some time, but the aft washer and pin that hold the rocker arms in place on the rocker shaft sheared, allowing the intake rocker to move and stop pushing the valve.

Bukh doesn't sell just the spring steel washer and pin anymore, one has to buy the the "complete rocker arm assembly".

Does anyone have a couple of washers for sale or even a used top end for sale or knows where I can find a thin piece of spring steel so I can make a washer myself so I can get back to sailing with an engine that works?

Thanks for any help or suggestions

Any machine shop can make something like that. How about a picture so i can have something to go off?

Mcmaster Carr sells every variety of thicknesses of steel you can imagine in small quantities plus pins. Dimensions would be helpful.

62 & 63?

You just need a pair of calipers to get dimensions of those parts.

ID, OD, thickness

Thanks Sailah, yes the parts are 62 and 63 in the Shop Manual. I will contact your suggestion McMaster Carr.
I was hoping to be pointed in the right direction. Very much appreciated

A spring pin is a stock item likely from mcmaster.

You may need the washer machined if tolerances are tight. But that's simple for anyone with a lathe, which is any machine shop. Hopefully it's a stock size. A $10 pair of digital calipers will let you know if it is. Mcmaster Carr is very easy to navigate.

If you have no other options i can machine one for you on my lathe but i need dimensions.

Good one, mate! The kind of thing I like to see on CF.
