Thank you to all of you who replied on my starting problems with my engine
. I want to give you feedback to the solution and the problems found with your help and that of a diesel mechanic
problems were identified as :
turnover when starting too slow
engine not getting enough fuel
to start at start up only.
located 5 ft away and wired in 16sq cable we relocated a 135 AH battery
30" away and wired in 50 sq cable starting turnover speed doubled at a very healthy rate.
UK found instructions for establishing TDC on the front flywheel and checking the timing of the fuel pump
very simple.. when you see the instructions.. and finally made adjustments to the two screws on the pump to remove the vibration on tickover..
Now er are starting on the second turnover and what a difference it is to have confidence in your engine.. happy days made the cruising around the west of Ireland
