Baudouin control panel

I've recently been put into our sailing club's committee boat, which is a 10m cat with twin Baudouin 375hp diesels and water jet driven.

However one of the engine control panels are having some problem.
1. The battery warning light is blinking. (Steady)
2. The rev counter doesn't start up until your reach 7-800 revs.

If we change the panels over,. the fault follows the panel. So it must be in the panel.
Anyone out there that have had the same problem, or someone with the know-how?

Re: Baudouin control panel

try contact spray on the terminals at the back of the panel, sounds like a low voltage, bad connection problem to alternator field wire or pos supply from battery

Be careful some of these sprays will damage the plastic and lenses around a panel. Agree clean and tighten the contacts.
