Just before we left NZ recently to head to Vanuatu, I had a problem with one of my tanks getting water in it after 24hrs sailing hard on the wind with the breather going under the water, pumped about 10l of water into the tank that then sloshed around and upset all the crud, made the fuel look horrible, but with the price of fuyel was reluctant to ditch 350l, picked up 2nd hand 500Racor and Walbro pump off ebay, mounted them in E/R seperate from other filters and pumped fuel from water drain in tank back to return for 24hrs, voila good fuel and now I have a polishing pumping system that could also be used to transfer fuel or back up main system if needed, all up cost $150NZD
