Alternator Belt Size for Perkins 4.236

Folks,

I'm heading to the boat tomorrow and want to bring down some new alternator belts. Does anyone know offhand the correct sizing for the standard (no mods) Perkins 4.236.

Of course I can pick up some belts down there (Tortola), but I'd rather do it here (Toronto) before I go.

Thanks and Cheers,
Colin

Re: Alternator Belt Size for Perkins 4.236

Hi Colin,

I have a 4.236 with a balmer 100 amp alt. I cannot say that the belt length is "normal".

I use a Gates Fleet Runner 9510HD which is 13 mm x 1295 mm (0.51" x 51")

The engine had a Goodyera 1511 (12AV1295) on it when I got it.

Regards
