Advice to fit a 40hp Mitsubishi Vetus (Please)

Hi every one. I'm hoping that someone may be able help me with details of the set up of a 40 hp Mitsubishi Vetus. Its been hard to find an Australian outlet that can tell me much about it. The block is stamped 4DQ5 and the serial number is 125464.
I bought the boat (a 34ft Steell Boro Temptress) with the motor stripped down so that it would fit through the companion way. I thought it might be an idea to assemble it and fire it up on a stand in the workshop before fitting it. I've got it pretty well together except for the heat exchange unit to the gearbox. And a few wires from the starter motor have me stumped. Could any one help if Im a little more specific, or would anyone know where I could source a workshop manual.
The hull was surveyed yesterday and Yippee....Alls well......A very positive report. Now I'm able to focus on the refit with confidence. Getting the motor right is the first step. Thanks heaps
Pete
