4JHE zincs

Does it have any? I can't find reference to any in it's manual, and I can't find any on the engine. Does it just not have any? How come it doesn't need any , assuming there are none?

There are no zincs in the 4JHe series. Some say there's a zinc in the oil cooler but there is no zinc in the OEM oil cooler. They will be paper thin in 2000 hours. ($600 for Yanmar oil cooler!)

Just thought there should be a zinc, just couldn't find one, then got to thinking, maybe it isn't supposed to have one?

We have a 4JH3E. I searched everywhere on the engine, in the manual, and finally called Mack Boring before really believing that there is no engine zinc. I do have large zincs on the SD50 and prop. I was told that the internal flow parts were resistant to corrosion / electrolysis !!!!
