Thanks guys. Got the lip seals and bought a couple of bearings but don't have a bearing puller. Guy in shop reckons just use a soft hammer and vice etcso see how I go. I actually think the po bought automotive ones and didn't change the spring, after reading your post atoll I had a look at the spring on the one I pulled out and it basically fell apart!! Now to get that key way off. Thanks for everyone's help, great resource these forums

no worries,use a bit of heat on the bearings and key way,be careful not to score the shaft if not using a press,by putting it in a vice!

SUCCESS !!!!! Thanks so much for everyone's help. I did exactly as everyone said and even made my own gasket too wouldn't have had a clue how to do it all without everyone's help so thanks everyone very much. Now on to the diesel leak

$31 and that was 2 bearings 4 lip seals ( bought spares) should see me through for a while!

a bit cheaper than a replacement pump @$350-400 lol

who says internet advice is worth exactly what you pay for it!!!!

matty, where'd you get yr seals - i paid more than for 1 from the bloody yanmar dealer, and they didnt have the inner one in stock so i didnt have to take me pants down on that visit...

Got them from state wide bearings and that's karratha prices!! Pretty happy with that. I am guessing they are auto ones but I did what atoll suggested and replaced the spring with an oring the same size. All seems to be working great
