1991 Sabre MKII

I am considering the purchase of a 38' 1991 Sabre MKII with Hood Stoway in mast Furling w/vertical battens. Also the Prop shaft from the pictures appears to be off the center line to the port side. The Engine Brand: Westerbeke 38 HP Engine Model: 38B-4. Does any one have any feedback on this vessel?

Re: 1991 Sabre MKII

The Sabre 38 is a great boat. Westerbekes are past their prime, but a lot are in service and doing well. The offset prop is to allow removal of the shaft without dropping the rudder. No problem with that design.

Thanks David. Any issues you know of regarding the Hood Stoway in mast furling?
