piddle pads/life jackets/tethers

can anybody recommend one of those pads for dogs to go to do their business? can't seem to find any.

also can anybody recommend a life jacket? i have a sheltie and am looking for a jacket that covers his chest and provides some support for his head. all the jackets seem to have small straps under the chest and i am afraid that this would hurt the dog should i have to lift him.

finally can you recommend a tether?

We have 2 of these... 1 for each of our dogs. We'll be trying them out this weekend at the lake. They are very well built and only cost 20-25 bucks and have lots of flotation, neck support and straps to keep the dog afloat and connected to the pfd at all times.

Yea as much as i hate to send anyone to walmart, walmart has them as well as pets stores. Our dogs usually hold it like hell the first day underway, then once they decide they gotta go they use the pad and will use it just fine from there on out (they prefer to go on land).

We have life jackets however we usually their harnesses with a teather, gives them the freedom to move about a bit more and our female thinks she is being tortured if you put any kind of clothes on them.
