Good advice. I remember seeing a thread here where folks had a couple of things they did; hanging something that a cat can climb easily over the side was the main theme.

In my experience once a cat does something that leads to embarrassment. discomfort, hunger or pain it is a while before they do anything like it again.

I am very happy Bella is home. I cringed reading your initial post because I think we all have been there. The not knowing is indeed the worst. I think atoll has given great advice above for anyone with cats on board.

Our cat developed a brain tumour. Having him euthanased was the hardest decision we ever made. Feel for you.
