Re: boat cats

Cats on boats are great but you must fly a "Cat on Board" flag to be proper! We always have cats in our marine store, no rodent problems.

Re: Boat Cats

Yeah that's an endangered animal. Don't think you can keep one of them as a pet. You may wish to look into the Bengal cat breed.

Re: Boat Cats

When my daughter turned 5, we got her a kitten from one of the people who lived on a boat in the what used to be FREE ANCHORAGE in San Diego. The cat was born on a boat and was about 6mos old before it ever went ashore. One day we went to the beach and I tossed the cat onto the sand and it went nuts! It's eyes got huge and it started meowing like it was about to be eaten by a big dog! It stood on the sand petrified, looking around scared to death! It jumped back in the Zodiac and wouldnt come out! We had our picnic and had to cut it short because the damn cat was howling! Back to the boat we went and that cat never left the boat for another year.
I named him "Chicken Tom"
