From today's 'Lectronic Latitude, comes a report that the thief of Pier 39 has been apprehended. For some time, fenders from nearby boats had been going missing. But even after the thief was discovered, Harbormaster Sheila Chandor didn't call the police. Instead, a call to the Monterey Bay Aquarium led to the capture and removal of the brazen robber.
