I have a 27ft Heavenly Twin.

This is my fifth year with her and she is my first boat. We first saw her at a sales exhibition for catamarans. I was keen on Prout and we went on all the boats over 33 ft to get an idea of what they were like. When we had finished, I said as a joke that we should look around one of those little clog shaped boats. It was love at first sight. It was much larger inside than out. At over six foot tall, I could stand up straight. It had two double berths at the back, a big galley and large heads. She seemed perfect so we arranged a trial sail. I didn't know much about sailing back then but could see how easy she was to handle. We were hooked and I have never regretted buying her. We have since sailed on many monohulls but love coming back to our own boat and running through the list of things we prefer. Her only downside is she doesn't head to wind too good, but that is only a problem when we are racing. Last year we did a weekend cruise with nine people on board. Don't ask where we all slept!

Next year, me and my partner should have saved enough to spend a few years sailing around and living on board. I hope she will be our little home for a very long time.

pirate My cat is a Woods Sagitta

A 30' catamaran with space for five to sleep comfortably, but many more to day-sail. Daggerboards and flared hulls for speed and windward performance, and a clever combination of tiller and detachable hydraulic wheel steering.

I sail her in the Solent. We're based in the upper reaches of Portsmouth Harbour towards Fareham.

9m Catalac which I have had for quite a while now, but am seriously considering a Prout Snowgoose Elite (although a Woods 37' Flica would also tempt me)

Woods Sagitta

I like it. Next time I am in England I would be tempted to visit, but I usually go to the North East. BC Mike C

Please drop by if you're in the area (send a PM). I'm new to the boat, and still learning a lot. I'd appreciate input from old hands.

Catamaran

The biggest catamaran I have been on is a Hobie 18 but I have been on plenty of larger monohulls power and sail. I think I may be due for another trip in 005. BC Mike C

Voyage 380 by Maxim

We have a Voyage 380 by Maxim. We are cruisers currently in the Caribbean. The boat was built and delivered on its bottom from Durban SA. It is a grat boat. Good in heavy weather, fast and well built. We love it.

Athena 38

FP people,

We've been looking for a forum here in the States that consists of Fountaine Pajot cat owners.

Ours is a 1996 Athena 38.

We're interested.

More FP people.

Ours is a 1994 FP Antigua 37' located in the BVI's.

We'll be sailing her to Trinidad / Tobago in June, wait out the
Hurricane season there, do some upgrades and figure out where we want to go from there.

Heavenly Twinge 26

Hello, I am new to this forum, but thought I would add my vessel to the list. Sailing currently from North Wales in the UK, but planning to live aboard very soon.

Captjohn,

Once I figure out what a pm jt is, I'd be happy to check it.

My Athena is down in the BVIs, but I live in Iowa not far from Chicago.
