Yachtworld trimaran search problem

Normally I can go to YW and punch up a search for all listings in trimarans, multihulls, catamarans or whatever. For about the last week many (way too many) other monohull boats are coming up in the trimaran or multihull searches. They all appear to be from the Ancasta brokerage which outnumber the tris 10 to 1 or more. I tried emailing YW but it bounced back as undeliverable twice and there was no response from Ancasta either. So could you guys help me straighten this out?

1. Is it me or do you get the same results when doing the trimaran or multihull searches.
2. Can anyone get thru to YW?
3. There is a broker contact tab so that they can get to YW. Any brokers here that could do this?
4. Or is this an Ancasta issue. Can anyone get with them?

Thanks

Edit: The catamaran search is working properly. It's just tris and multis.

Re: Yachtworld trimaran search problem

It's Ancasta listing their boats in multiple categories. They also incorrectly list their boat lengths so they will show up in more search parameters. It's dishonest and annoying. For some reason it appears that only European brokerages do this.

Probably. My weekly email with yacht world search usually has several small crappy production boats which are way outside of the search parameters topping the list. Usually Ancasta listings. I can't believe Yachtworld lets them get away with it.

Ancasta pain in the sparse all over again. I get their boats in the search even when I am looking for limes. Them and the other company that never shows the images unless you 'sign-in' which involves giving them your email so that they can spam you endlessly.

Oh why can't they see their behaviour are so pasé in the era of ubertaxi?

Click on one of the suspect monohulls and send Ancasta a nice email asking if they need a lesson to determine what the difference is between a mono and a multi. I'll let you know if I get a reply to my email to them.

How to address customer service problems ????

Why making it so difficult ???? Here my advice how to go (I come from marketing) you can guarantee that it will be noticed:

Ddoesnt make sense to yeal around here a lot... and via email is the risk that your message will end in a trash box by spam filter.

1.) Best you use the traditional way. Send to the owner a FAX, an official letter or at least the copy of your email via fax...

YachtWorld.com
West Lake Union Center
1505 Westlake Ave North, Suite 510
Seattle, Washington 98109

Fax: +1-206.352.9406

A facsimile is officially (under legal aspects) while emails are not :-)

This address is listed here: Contact Us - YachtWorld.com

2.) Send a copy same to the OWNER as they will be more sensitive to notice about problems of their sub division... it is this: Dominion Enterprises - International media, advertising, and technology business with consumer and business brands : Dominion Enterprises

Dominion Enterprises
150 Granby Street
Norfolk, Virginia 23510
Main Tel Number: +1-757-351-7000

It is always good to inform the PR department via FAX. Because these guys care a lot the image of a company and brand... and know to whom they overhand it. They dont like bad customer service problems which is always bad for business.

Phone: +1-757-351-8204
Fax: +1-757-314-2512
E-mail: pr@dominionenterprises.com

Good luck !!

Re: Yachtworld trimaran search problem

Dunno. I complained twice to Ancasta. There had to be more than just me or us doing trimaran and multihull searches. Maybe it got back to the lords of Yachtworld.
