Did You decide what You need the boat for?

If Your future boat will be mostly anchored, then there is no need to buy one with that aluminum stick in the mniddle - just buy a floating platform with a large house erected on it. Having 1.5 mio in the pocket for that You will get a real big house!

If You need the boat for slow cruising in the Med singlehanded, then it is the other story, but again, no need in owning old big Catana for that.

If You seek for a charter project, then again older 65ft Catana is not the best investment for that, IMHO.

Definitely planning to spend more than just summers, blue water cruising is the aim.

The reason boats like Bank Pop can be single handed across oceans is a combination of the skills of the skipper and how the boat is set up. What the OP needs to do is assess how well his target boat is set up for short handed sailing and how well his skills match the setup of the boat.

Off course and also if he wants to sustain the extra effort to sail a big fast demanding sailing boat alone or with just a couple.

Huge racing trimarans can be sailed solo but require not only the right set up as a very talented sailor and also a big effort. Certainly if one of those skippers would want to go cruising and enjoying life he would not chose a boat that would demand from him a considerable effort and attention to sail it alone, considering his skills.
