World's largest boat show?

I was perusing the web site for the upcomming US Sailboat show in Annapolis in October and was disappointed/surprised at how few catamarans were on the list. I was interested in looking at the Manta 42, the privilege 395, the MainCat, the Gemini, etc., but none were listed. In fact, the only Cats I could find were Lagoon and Leopard, and a 50' Privilege and Catana.

Is this only a partial list and can I expect more Cats to be there, or am I looking at the wrong boat show?

United States Sailboat Show, Annapolis, Chesapeake Bay, Maryland

Manta lists their attendance at this year's Annapolis show on their website.

I believe the Miami show in February is the best one for sailing catamarans.

Performance Cruising (who make Gemini) are based right across Back Creek by Jabin's Yacht Yard. If they aren't at the show you can still arrange to see one.

Good point Auspicious. You can arrange to see any type of boat you want to see anywhere you want. You just have to let the broker or the owner know that you are not wasting his or her time. It is nice though when you can go to a show and see a lot of different boats all in one place with a little more anonymity.

This is the best show for cats in France, perhaps all of Europe.... Le Grand Pavois - Salon Nautique International ā Flot - La Rochelle - Charentes Maritimes - Nautisme et Tourisme

And you will not be able to see a FastCat at any boat show since we feel that a boat show does not do the prospective clients or us any good.
We prefer to sail for one or 2 days and clients can actually sleep on board if they wish.
Judging a boat is not just about looks but much more about how it sails , handles , sleeps and how one can actually live in it.

Greetings

Gideon

Thats true... But what is your deliverytimes today. And when do you have your new factory finished? And the deliverytimes after that...

People who want a boat can fly to the factory for a testdrive, but then itīs a combination of marketing and deliverytime. I donīt want to buy a new boat 2008 and have the delivery in 2011. Then itīs probably many new things on all other brands.(Sorry for my english)

Dont want to sound cynical but maybe the cost of being at a show - especially the space needed for a big cat - is also one reason not to be there?

How many boats do you build each year old and new factory? What sizes do you have right now?

435 Standard and electric
455 Standard and electric
405 Standard and electric

And the 445? Do you have more...?

???? I can understand that a small upstart company might not be able to afford the Annapolis Boat show, but to say that it doesn't do customers or prospective clients any good is nonsense. It is a gateway to thousands of potential buyers. Of course a next step would be to sail the boat and stay on it, but first you have to lure them in somehow.

And by the way, Annapolis is a wonderful town in its own right and doubly so during the show.
