Woods Fairweather 40' Catamaran

We are trying to decide which catamaran to go on an extended cruise with our kids. We came across a Woods 40' Fairweather. Can anyone tell us anything about these yachts?

Woods designs have produced some excellent catamarans but they are so old fashioned.

We are not too concerned about how modern it is. This one was launched in 1994. I am more concerned by the fact that during my research I read the Woods website and it said that boats built in SA (this one was) that are not not of x,y & z design (fairweather not included) are not "Woods designs" so be warned. Perhaps someone has some info on this model....or has sailed on this type of boat before?
